We are AJ Garage Services Ltd - a busy family run vehicle service & repair business based in Caerleon for over 38 years, with an outstanding reputation for service quality & customer satisfaction. We service and repair a wide range of motor vehicles from small family cars to 4x4s, & LGVs in our superbly equipped workshops with 12 lifts/ramps and an impressive array of sophisticated tools & equipment.

Due to expansion and an increased demand for skilled work, we are looking for a vehicle technician who can demonstrate outstanding capability and detailed knowledge of petrol, diesel (and/or Electric) powered vehicles.

The JOB...

Highly skilled Automotive Vehicle Technician with an intimate knowledge of Internal Combustion Engines.

You can take an internal combustion engine apart, diagnose faults, undertake deep engine repairs, put it all back together again and most importantly, you can make it work.

You ‘Live & Breath Engines’ and get a real kick from applying your skill & knowledge doing fault diagnosis, dismantling, repairing, re-conditioning and re-building diesel and petrol engines.

The successful candidate will work in their own dedicated area at their own pace and will be supported by knowledgeable management and efficient support staff & parts co-ordinators.

We will give full consideration to applications for FULL TIME or PART TIME work in recognition that Work/Life balance has become more important to us all over the last few years. (Working hours can be negotiable.) So long as you are prepared to deliver 100% during your working hours and have the right attitude, we will have a place for you

We are LOOKING FOR...

Successful candidates will have….

·        City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Qualifications.

(All qualified & experienced technicians with the relevant skills will be considered)

·        Full UK Driving Licence

·        The ability to work unsupervised or as part of a small team.

·        Minimum 5 Years Experience
